The purpose of the Arabian Horse Distance Riding Association is to "Promote the Arabian Horse in the field of Endurance and Competitive Trail Riding, activities in which the Arabian naturally excels."
How can you support the Arabian Horse in their most natural activity? Become an AHDRA Member! Want to know more? Contact an AHDRA Board Member or come to a ride--observe; crew for a rider; check out the score cards and maybe scribe for a vet; ask questions from the people (and horses) who find this sport both challenging and rewarding.
Benefits of becoming an AHDRA member is more than just a financial contribution. The rewards are endless, and mostly personal. But here are a few to get you started:
EACH HORSE AND RIDER MUST BE NOMINATED
Upon receipt of your dues, you will be mailed a Horse Nomination Form that has to be returned (or emailed through the website) to Jen Allen, Points Keeper, at sydney1410@yahoo.com. NO POINTS WILL ACCRUE TOWARDS YEAR-END AWARDS UNTIL THIS FORM IS RECEIVED!
